Subutex Detox

Subutex (Buprenorphine) Detox. If you are already taking Buprenorphine (Subutex), we will use this for your detox. It makes it easier for you and you know exactly where you are with it. We will just reduce your doses everyday by 2mg daily until you reach 2mg in total, then will reduce it by 0.4mg per day until you reach zero. How long this will take will depend on the amount you are taking before you come in to us.

Detoxing

Detoxing from opiates is never easy. But we have detox programs which are highly successful and which work. We also offer aftercare with all our programs. But the problem is this. We are still detoxing clients from Heroin and Methadone, but a lot of residential rehab centres have stopped doing detoxes for heroin and Methadone. Why are rehab centres not detoxing Heroin and Methadone addicts

I believe the simple reason is, it is easier to detox clients from alcohol than opioids. It is a quicker detox, and highly successful. I also believe private rehab centres have clients in who want detoxing from alcohol who have paid a lot of money to be there, and do not want to be sat with heroin addicts. But do not worry.
